They say that what you do on New Year's Day is what you will be doing for the rest of the year. Well, it looks like Katie, Kristin, and I are pretty much going to be worthless for the rest of the year. Creme Brule icecream, Ipads, and naps...yep. That's how we roll.
At www.lproof.org, Beth Moore is facilitating her 2nd Siesta Scripture Memory Team where participants memorize 2 scriptures a month for the entire year. This is my spiral and my first verse.
My small group celebrated New Year's as well! We made a toast with sparkling red grape juice. I had each of them, including myself, go around and tell what their prayer is for 2011. We then toasted the following, "May Jesus be all over 2011." Love it. These girls mean so much to me. They have been a part of my life during some tough times, and they helped me see past my self and my circumstances. With them in my life, it's not all about me. And that has made all the difference.
